"Art in the Electric Age" by John Chandler appeared in the February 20, 1969 issue of Art International. Chandler writes about three major shows: "Cybernetic Serendipity," "The Machine at the End of the Mechanical Age," and Pulsa's "Boston Demonstration." Chandler describes and appraises The Pulsa Group's installation in the Boston Public Garden, contextualizing the 21-day 1968 work in relation to the history/future of cybernetics, technology, and art. The members of Pulsa are Michael Cain, Patrick Clancy, William Crosby, William Duesing, Paul Fuge, Peter Kindlmann, and David Rumsey.
